Regardless of what you think...

Irregardless is not a word. Sure it shows up in dictionaries, but it is regarded as being the property of yokels. You can continue to try and fit it into conversations, but that doesn't mean it will stick. It's a square peg in a round language hole, like de-plane and blogging. Please delete from your lexicon. You're welcome.

  1. I agree. De-plane is not a word. You can't plane, so how can you de-plane. The verb is board. Maybe you can deboard, or unboard, but you can't de-plane.
